Chinese universities, University of Hong Kong and University of Macao,
squeezed into the top 10 of the world¡¯s most international universities
in 2016, according to a new list published by Times Higher Education on
Thursday.

The latest list showed that University of Hong Kong ranked third and
University of Macao seized the sixth place.

Education included 200 universities from 28 countries. It employed
indicators such as the proportion of international staff, the number of
international students and research papers published with at least one
co-author from another country of each institution.

Qatar University claimed the most international institution, marking the
first time a Middle Eastern university has topped the list.

Singapore (ninth) and Imperial College London (10th).

The survey also revealed that London enjoyed the largest number of the
world¡¯s international universities, with 15 among on the top 200 list,

of London (23rd) and Royal Holloway, University of London (30th).
