Xi Jinping arrived at Prague’s international airport at about 2 pm local
time (8 pm in China) today for an historic three-day visit.
当地时间昨天下午2点左右，也就是北京时间今天上午8点，中国国家主席习近平乘专机抵达布拉格国际机场，开始对捷克共和国进行为期三天的国事访问。
It’s the first time that a Chinese president has paid a state visit to
the Czech Republic since the two countries established diplomatic ties
67 years ago. Xi’s plane was escorted by two Czech fighter jets when it
entered the country’s airspace.
这是中捷两国建交67年来中国国家主席首次访问捷克。当习近平乘坐的专机进入捷克领空时，捷克2架战机升空护航。
In a written statement released shortly after Xi’s arrival, the Chinese
president said that through this visit, he hopes to boost political
trust and promote pragmatic cooperation with the Czech Republic.
在习近平抵达不久之后发布的一则书面声明中，中国国家主席习近平表示，希望通过此访加深两国人民传统友谊，增强中捷政治互信，拓展两国务实合作。
During the visit, the top leaders of the two countries will hold talks
and exchange views on issues including developing strategic connections
in pushing forward China-proposed Belt and Road constructions, improving
bilateral ties and enhancing China-Central and East European Countries
cooperation, according to the statement.
声明称，在访问期间，双方领导将就多方面的议题举行会晤、深入交换意见，包括以“一带一路”建设为契机，发展战略伙伴关系，加强双边关系，加强中东欧合作等。
"I believe that with the joint efforts of both sides, the visit will
definitely be successful and it will lay the basis for the future
development of China-Czech ties," Xi said in the statement.
习近平在声明中表示，“我相信通过双方努力，这次访问一定会非常成功，将为中捷关系未来的发展奠定良好基础�！�
According to the schedule released by the Czech Presidential Office, the
Chinese delegation will meet Czech President Milos Zeman at the Lany
chateau, west of Prague, this afternoon. The two presidents together
will plant a tree and unveil a commemorative plaque in the chateau.
根据捷克总统办公室公布的日程，中国代表团今天下午将在，位于布拉格西面的拉尼庄园会见捷克总统泽曼，两国元首将会在庄园里共同种下一株树苗，并共同为庄园内的一座纪念碑揭幕。
After finishing the visit, Xi will fly to the United States on Wednesday
afternoon to attend the fourth Nuclear Security Summit, which is to be
held from Thursday to Friday.
完成对捷克的访问后，习近平周三下午将会飞往美国，出席第四届核安全峰会。第四届核安全峰会将于本周四以及周五举行。
